Either way it comes down to this....bad booking can make even the most talented guys look bad in the ring. Cena has just been the victim of that...they just need to let Cena be himself that way it won't seem like he's hulking up all the time. Cena CAN wrestle....it's just that Vince won't let him....much less other guys

I don't know if Cena ever wrestled in Japan, but I remember watching Cena wrestle in independent federations as "The Prototype". I knew then that this guy was going to be huge if he ever got picked up.

Well Muta did have that ability. He made Sting look a lot better than he could made himself look(so did Flair and it was a poitn Sting openly admitted too), but if you watch the Hogan/Muta match you will see that nobody is carrying anyone. Hogan is on equal ground WRESTLING with Muta. If you look at all of Hogan's matches in Japan you see a completely different guy.

Yeah but Muta was Japans equivalent to Ric Flair in the 80's, he could carry a wheelchair bound hooker to a decent match

I couldn't agree more....my big brother makes that mistake like a lot of wrestling fans by assuming that Hogan never wrestled in Japan. For all we know Cena probably did the same thing and he's getting paid more than Hogan at the same point in his career to do what he does.

No, he would just resort to using the technical wrestling he used in Japan that nobody likes to talk about. Hogan COULD wrestle, he just didn't because he was getting paid millions of dollars NOT to wrestle. If you were getting paid the money he was just to go out there and kick and punch you wouldn't do much more than he did either. Search Hulk Hogan VS The Great Muta to see what I mean.
